We will deep dive into the legacy of a system that trained physicians during the last 100 years for diseases, to the neglect of humanity whom it was meant to serve. It will confront the blind spots of Medicine as it is taught, assessed, and practiced in the majority of education and health institutions locally and abroad, almost totally divorced from social reality. The aspiration that it hopes to achieve is to reclaim Medicine's social accountability to the community, culture and justice. Sort of engaging medical and social scientists to the herculean task of transforming the deeply entrenched Flexnerian Model to the Frenk Paradigm of medical education where education and training are re-imagined for equity, accountability, and collective healing.
